Hi!

My name is Kaia (she/her), and I am a proud member of both the neurodivergent (AuDHD) and 2SLGBTQIA+ communities. I bring lived experience, curiosity, and deep respect into my work with 2SLGBTQIA+, BIPOC, neurodivergent, Disabled, polyamorous/ENM, and kink-affirming communities. My practice is grounded in autonomy, authenticity, and honoring people exactly as they are.

Clinical Therapist

I specialize in working with individuals navigating ADHD, Autism, anxiety, trauma, depression, and disability-related challenges, including chronic health conditions and the mental health impacts of systemic oppression. As a neurodivergent clinician, I bring both lived experience and professional knowledge to create a validating, affirming space where clients can explore their identities, experiences, and goals without judgment.

I have completed a specialization in Trauma Across the Lifespan through Western Michigan University and incorporate elements of Neurodiversity Affirming modified Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), mindfulness practices, Internal Family Systems (IFS)/parts work, and attachment-based therapy into my work. I take a person-centered, strengths-based approach, focusing on creating a space that is safe, inclusive, and aligned with your unique goals.

As a neurodivergent and chronically ill person, I understand firsthand the power of affirming, collaborative therapy. My own healing journey has shaped my passion for walking alongside clients as they work toward growth and well-being. I am passionately committed to helping clients navigate and heal from trauma, including harm caused by systemic oppression and injustice.
