Hi...
I am Megan a......
Therapist / Nature-lover / Queer / neurodivergent human. I am also a Trauma survivor and.......
Deep believer in your worth.

You are not too much.

You are not broken.

You’re navigating systems and stories that were never built for your wholeness—and that can be exhausting.
If you’re carrying the weight of trauma, identity-based harm, or just trying to survive in a world that asks too much while giving too little, you’re not alone. Therapy with me is a space where you can slow down, breathe, and reconnect with the parts of you that have always been wise, even if they’ve gone quiet.

My Approach
My work is grounded in awareness, honesty, and respect for your lived experience. I approach therapy as a collaborative, healing relationship. I integrate:

• Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
• Trauma-informed Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
• Guided meditation and mindfulness
• Nature-based and somatic practices
• Support for LGBTQIA+, neurodivergent folks
• Compassionate care around religious trauma and identity deconstruction

I also bring experience from my time working in healthcare and medical social work, which gives me a deep understanding of how complex and often dehumanizing medical systems can be— especially for those living with chronic illness, disability, or intersecting forms of marginalization.

My lens is anti-capitalist and anti-oppressive. That means we’ll honor your pace, your boundaries, and your right to rest. We’ll name the ways systems like white supremacy, capitalism, ableism, and cisheteronormativity impact your mental health—and work together to soften their grip.

What to Expect
This is a space where your full self is welcome— your grief, your joy, your uncertainty. You don’t need to come with the “right words.” You don’t need to be okay.

You can expect:
• A grounded, non-judgmental presence
• Care that centers your autonomy and consent
• Space for growth, silence, laughter, and everything in between
• A relationship built on trust, not pressure

Healing doesn’t have to be linear or perfect. It just has to be real.

A Little About Me
When I’m not in session, you can find me gardening, wandering near Lake Michigan, planning my next trip, hanging with my cats and dogs, and listening to music (especially Beyoncé) is one of my favorite forms of medicine.
My life and practice are shaped by my own experiences of trauma, religious harm, gender expansiveness, and neurodivergence. Not as a replacement for your story, but as a way to show up with compassion and understanding.

Accessibility & Care
I believe therapy should feel human, not transactional. I offer sliding scale spots when I’m able, and strive to create a space that’s rooted in care, not productivity or perfectionism. Healing shouldn’t have to be earned.
If you’re looking for a therapist who will meet you where you are—with care, curiosity, and deep respect—you’re in the right place.
