Sara is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor offering online services. Her approach includes affirming and evidence-based techniques to support clients in reaching their personal goals. She is neurodiversity-affirming and utilizes a collaborative style that acknowledges that everyone is the expert in their own lives. When working with addiction or substance use issues, she incorporates harm reduction strategies and is supportive of all pathways to recovery.
Sara is also trained in equine-facilitated psychotherapy through the HERD Institute. This is an experiential approach that partners with horses to explore how we interact with our world through relationship
